things i have learned from my dogs since adopting them: i never want to run into their previous owner
fucking this, our brandon is like 6 and his previous owner only had him for a couple months back when he was a puppy and he still has real bad days.
Animals are so fragile when they’re young too and they don’t forget. The people we got our cat from had a break in and they cut off all the cats whiskers and possibly other things we don’t know about and she still doesn’t trust new people and doesn’t like loud noises.
Be extra good to ALL your pets, they remember everything.
