Hello everyone! today i’d like to talk a little about my good friend, Ami. Ami is a sweet, caring, fun-loving girl who is a bisexual person of color and lives in Mexico. She is eighteen, and an artist.

Me Ami go back a while. We met through this wonderful little game called OFF, and since then have been extremely good friends. We have done art memes together, played minecraft, and had fun video chats. We also draw fanart of eachother’s characters and freak the fuck out because dang, we love eachother that much.

Recently, Ami has gotten an insane amount of fame through a fun little comic about a bear and a woman that spawned from a picture going around tumblr. she got multiple offers from animation companies asking if they could turn her idea into a show, and of course, she agreed. Ami was absolutely thrilled to tears, and the woman from the photo even called her to tell her that, no, the bear in the photo was NOT killed, just to cheer her up.

Unfortunately, the fame also brought along some vicious hate posts, mail, and rumors about my dear, sweet Ami. this fucking asshole decided to spread a lot of offensive, rude bullshit about her, claiming her to be a straight, white cis girl from america. obviously, this is absolutely false in every possible way. even TheFrogMan has defended her in this case, because in reality, she really did absolutely nothing wrong.
Ami is absolutely one of the sweetest people i have ever met, and she does NOT deserve all this hate she is getting just because some fucked up asshole spread untrue, disgusting rumors about her. She is just a girl who drew some fun pictures and got into a really big mess of fame. She, just like every other artist on this douchefuck website, is trying to make a career through something she loves to do in the world, and because of that, she is getting attacked by people that don’t even know her.

if you see any rumors or hate going around about her, please, PLEASE do not reblog or encourage it. she never asked for any of this, and it’s really really upsetting her. Ami has NEVER done ANYTHING wrong, nor has she ever had any intentions of doing so. we want this mess to be over as soon as possible, so she can go back to enjoying her life and this website like it’s supposed to be enjoyed.
