Oooh… I see. I’m from the midwest and only recently moved out here, so growing up and not specifically studying this area it just looked like a wide mess of mountains. I didn’t realize that the Cascades were a separate mountain chain that is close to and running parallel to the Rockies.
Oh I live near the Rockies! But I’m West of the Rockies and it rains a lot, but that’s Alberta weather for you. It’s been raining straight for about a week.
