With our food stamp fiasco last month we are running low on food money– we’ve only got 50 bucks left which has to last us til the 15th of september.
We need to put money on the electric, which costs about 30-40/week depending on the weather.
My phone (my primary way to use the internet) has reached a point of obsolescence where many websites are no longer usable bc my browser is outdated but the phone will no longer support the updates; I need to replace it which will cost about $200.
And our underwear is worn clean through to the point where it’s just holes stitched together.
We are trying real hard but we really need some help.
Our cars battery died and needed to be replaced for the cost of… pretty much all the donations we have received so far ($100). Your continued help is greatly appreciated.

Please boost this. The last 3 years of my life has been constant suffering and chaos and words cannot express how tired I am. Or family needs so much right now but we will settle for some food
We are no longer in panic mode and im very grateful. More than words can express. Also enough of my anxiety is relieved that I can explain our situation a little more.
I am a disabled, mentally ill, middle aged adult with a 12 year old child whose father is not in the picture and is still paying the minimum child support from what he was making 11 years ago. Yes I have an SSI application in the works but we all know how that goes.
We live with my (very friendly terms) ex boyfriend and his mother; they both work minimum wage jobs but the ex only started working 2 months ago (recently enough that I still feel extreme pride telling you that he got a job) and we are still playing catchup on bills; and his mum has been very ill lately and missed some work because of it.
The state we live in has jerked me over repeatedly on food stamps and theres basically no cash allowance/TANF (getting the cash would be a harder fight and comes out to less than ten dollars a month). I recertified in April and they are claiming I was due for another in June– which I did not receive notice about and which I could fight, but fighting it would take longer than just reapplying.
I don’t drive and we live in an extremely rural area with no public transport so I had to have them send me the paperwork in the mail. It came this afternoon unfortunately! Since Friday is our drivers only day off and she had to take the ex to work. So it will be literally another week from today, 21 July 2018, before I can turn in my paperwork and proofs, and not til the week after that I will actually receive anything. In short, despite the help we’ve received which we are indescribably grateful for, we could still use an assist.
TL;DR:
We are still in need of money for food and maybe some help with the electric if anyone can assist us further. We are trying. We are sorry. Any overages we get will be saved for the next emergency.
Hi everyone! As some of you know, recently my 12-year-old son accidentally broke his ipad– the one nice thing he had of his own. In an effort to help him raise money to get himself a laptop and tablet in order to pursue his dream of being an author/illustrator, I opened up a redbubble. Right now, pride roses are the only design I have available but I do hope to put some other things up soon!
