i am a disabled and mentally ill trans person who is unable to work. i have a ten year old son and an emotional support animal (cat).
i am working towards getting on disability; i currently make just over $300/month in EBT cash benefits.
my girlfriend has been looking for but has so far been unable to find work. she also has a cat.
our roommates have asked us to move by october 8th. we currently have nowhere to go, and no family or friends in the area
i would like to keep my son in this school district, and the moving fees for out of area are exorbitant anyways so we really would like to stay in bremerton
we are asking for donations. unfortunately we dont have a set donation goal because we dont know yet what kind of housing we can find; we only need a 1 bedroom apartment, though two would be ideal, and costs would range from about $800-950/month
around $2000 would at least get us into a place and first months rent paid, with any luck we would have my disability payments and/or gf’s job worked out by that point
