Hello. I’m starting a new post because as the number of notes climbed, the number of donations withered and our need is still very great.

I am a physically disabled and mentally ill trans parent who is unable to work a traditional job. My son is a bright and cheerful almost-12-year-old. We love our home; this is the first place we have felt stable and happy, where he has real friends for the first time.

My partner and I split up. We are going to continue keeping house together for another couple months til they figure out where they are going to go, but my son and I would very much like to stay here. This is going to be difficult.

I’m looking into various income sources right now but we are going to need help our first couple of months. Additionally, we still need to pay our half of the rent and bills while my ex is still here and rent is coming due! Last but not least, my son’s birthday is right around the corner.

I have plans in the works to bring in some income but getting started will be highly dependent on the goodwill of others (that’s you!).
