I really do love the people at Funimation, I think they’re a bunch of wonderfully talented people, but the fact that they decided to go with “he” for Crona instead of “they” while fully acknowledging that Crona is supposed to be gender neutral is something that really kinda pisses me off.
They do that with a lot of characters too. They did that with Grell from Black Butler and a couple others I can’t remember right now.
I mean I get that Japanese doesn’t have gendered pronouns but come on you could translate a lot better.
