It’s so weird meeting PoC my age, I’m so used to everyone being older than me. My city is one of the fastest growing in Canada (was THE fastest before 2008) and that’s mostly because of immigration so all of the people my age are from the small town families when it was still like 10 000 ish people? Then there wasn’t many First Peoples kids either because of the reserves that are close by a lot of them lived there and didn’t go to school in town.
IDK I just grew up in really weird circumstances and I’m realizing all these weird things I have ingrained into me.
