that’s literally it folks! like trans doesn’t mean you have to transition in anyway either. it just means you’re at least somewhat not your assigned gender at birth.

and cisgender means anyone who’s gender matches up 100% with their assigned gender at birth just fyi

there are individual nb people who do not ID as trans for whatever reason (imo it’s often because of y’all excluding us by saying shit like “trans and nb”) but like by default nb ppl are included under the trans umbrella

like I am transgender and I am nonbinary. I am trans because while I was assigned female at birth, I am not female. I am nonbinary. I am trans because I am nonbinary.

like I know a lot of people mean well and are just trying to be inclusive but it’s super hurtful to me and others.

if you want to include nb people who do not ID as cis or trans, just imo, say something along the lines of “transgender people and people who are otherwise not cisender” or “trans ppl & other noncis ppl”.
