i’ve never once seen an anti-self dxer complain about the ableism that makes neurodivergent people want nothing more than to hide who they are from the world. i’ve never once seen them talk about how the “lack of objectivity” inherent in self dx is a bias that cuts exactly the opposite way they want it to; that it’s much more likely to see self dxed teens downplaying and ignoring and suppressing their symptoms than Faking them. 

i guess they’re just too busy getting up in arms about Pretend Diseases and Transtrenders to acknowledge, y’know. actual problems within the disability community.
