The foodstamps were taken away because I didn’t work enough hours when I was working and they won’t give them back because of that. Hey guys, I’m Jess ironicdavestrider and I’m a mentally and physically ill non-binary person who needs to save up money to move out of my abusive household.
I lost my job in May after my dad was hospitalized and unresponsive, leaving me as his power of attorney in case of an emergency. He has since recovered enough for me to begin job hunting again; but I need some extra help in the mean time. My mom also passed away last year; leaving my dad in a state where he doesn’t seem to care about my well being and constantly threatens to kick me out; and if that happens I have no safety net.
I want to move out ASAP because I have no food here (my dad shames me for eating) and my dad does not cater to my medical conditions (PTSD, #rape trauma syndrome, PCOS, and chronic migraines). I have to buy my own food, gas, car insurance (which alone is $125 a month) and save up for an apartment.
I’m currently suffering from drug addiction/withdrawals and #self harm addiction due to my surroundings and their effect on my mental health.
If all of my followers were able to donate $5, I would have around $8500 alone. So I’m asking for you to donate, and if that’s not possible please signal boost this. Any amount counts and it would help me out more than you know.

This is a photo of the man in Moncton, NB, Canada who is currently at large. His name is Justin Bourque and he is extremely dangerous. This is what he was photographed in today. If you live in the Moncton area or know of someone who lives there, tell them to lock their doors and to leave their porch light on (the RCMP is requesting people do this). He has killed 3 RCMP and injured 2 already. Please be safe.

PLEASE: if you live by San Marcos/ Escondido/ Carlsbad/San Bernardino and you haven’t evacuated, PLEASE pack a bag just incase and make sure you pack clothes along with water and any needed medical equipment, along with possible food.
If you have pets, please if you have friends or relatives that live somewhat farther away please call them and ask for you to stay there instead of an evacuation center because most centers DONT allow pets.
Most importantly: please be safe!
UPDATE: MAKE SURE YOU TAKE VAUABLES, NOT ONLY BECAUSE YOUR HOUSE CAN GET BURNED DOWN BUT BECAUSE THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO WAIT TIL PEOPLE EVACUATE TO BREAK IN HOMES!!!!
Something else for people in the area that aren’t directly involved:
Remember the wind has been really bad so if you can see smoke or if there’s ash in the air there is a risk that there could be embers blowing over to you so try to keep your windows closed. Again with the ash and smoke affecting the air quality so if you have any respiratory illnesses please take really good care of yourself!! Wear masks outside if you have to. If any of your friends or family or colleagues are in the evacuation zone and you are in a safe zone with a fairly large house, I highly encourage you to invite them to stay with you for the time being. I can tell you from experience that evac centers can get pretty crowded and these fires are only spreading out more. There are only so many firefighters in this city. Even if you don’t think you’re at risk as long as the weather is dry and the wind is strong there could be more fires and as we’ve seen today they can spread so quickly. For all I know a fire could break out down the street later tonight and I will have to evacuate. Please be aware of everything above about evacuation that is all so important.
