Why am i laughing at this

I’ve always had this theory

that the more heart-wrenching/traumatizing/disturbing/dark/emotional the actual media, the sillier the fandom, and the more ridiculous shit it creates. because after being through such an emotional wringer, we get a bit… off. and we need some kind of, idek, release, way to cope with our pain, especially if we’re totally done with the content and have no more coming in the foreseeable future (when shows go on hiatus, book series end, GAMES ARE DONE) –
